Description

 As a "club sport", PTBLA Inc is responsible for providing safe, reliable transportation to as many away games as possible. It is a significant investment for the association. In 2006 we provided buses to 15 games for a cost of $3,210.00. In 2007, we provided 13 buses to away games. These trips were scheduled for all away JV Warriors, JV Braves, and Varsity games.

 In particular, we take pride in providing transportation for early weekday games to provide a simple solution for those parents who may not be able to get home in time to drive their son to an away game. Generally, both JV Warriors and JV Braves play prior to Varsity when all 3 teams are scheduled for the same evening. If we elect to forgo transportation all together, we prefer to target weekend contests when parents are more likely to be available to drive.

Mission

In the spirit of team building and providing a safe means of travel, PTBLA, Inc is committed to providing reliable transportation to as many away games as possible. We firmly believe that there is no greater responsibility than to ensure the safety of players while traveling to play lacrosse  and represent our organization outside of Peters Township.

Events

As in the past, we anticipate each team being prepared to board their respective bus approximately 1.5 to 2.0 hours prior to game time. Times and schedules will be posted prior to each away game.

Transportation Policy

1. When a bus is scheduled, all players must take the bus to the game.
2. All players will return on the bus from the game. Parents nor anyone else can drive a player home from a game.
3. A coach, not a parent must be on the bus to and from the game.
4. After the bus drops off the team, the last person to leave the High School parking lot must be a coach. No player can be left alone, waiting for a ride.
5. The only exception for not taking the bus home from the game is medical emergencies or academic reasons.
6. All academic reasons must be requested in writing, must have prior approval, and is up to the coach’s discretion.
