REGISTER NOW FOR WINTER INDOOR! Please e-mail Larry Luzier (larryluzier@comcast.net) if your son wants to play. Right now, we have two teams scheduled at the Ice-o-plex at Southpointe.... one for upperclassmen and one for lower. Coaches will determine final teams. Play begins Wednesday, January 9 and will continue for 8 consecutive Wednesdays. Depending upon the number of players, fees will NOT exceed $100 per player. Photos Uploaded! A few photos have been posted under the "News" tab. Please scroll down to view images from Big Shot 7v7 and W&J. Photos, Videos etc... Diane Rudy will be heading-up our Media Committee. Diane asks everyone to send any photos or video for the guide which will be distributed in April. While our game schedule will not begin until March, tournament and indoor shots can be archived now. She's also looking for others to help in soliciting advertising and coordinating the design and layout. Feel free to e-mail photos to drudy@comcast.net or call her at 724.942.1229. You may also send images on disk. FYI/Registration Forms: PTBLA will be updating and modifying our player forms for the coming season to include the new PIAA physical form which only requires players to fill it out just once per year. This is being done to facilitate our transition to WPIAL status in 2009. If your son has played a fall sport or is playing a winter sport, you've filled one out already in order to participate. Please keep a copy for use later on. Special thanks to Reena van Dyke and Melissa Sickmund for chairing this effort. Traditionally, we've distributed player packets in January. We hope to update www.ptbla.org to facilitate distribution as well as accelerate the process. From baskets, to ticket sales, 50/50, food servers, corporate sponsors, bartenders, the door, number callers, promotions, etc... you name it Mary gets it done BUT SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP. Also, since Mary's son is a senior, this is her last year as Bingo chair and she needs one individual to step-up and act as co-chair to ensure that this overwhelmingly successful event can continue to bring-in invaluable revenue to PTBLA to ensure the well-being of our entire organization.
